Gooonnneee r those days

Ask anyone who is a graduate wat his best tym of  lyf was.. and if he s a normal person his  reply will be "My colz days" that to with a smile on his face.. He would tell that "Cha those were the days dude i enjoyed the most.. Lots of fun.. Lots of friends.." So i was sitting and thinkin wats the difference ...?

The main thing the colz gives us s the freedom.. All sorts of freedom.. And this freedom s more when u live in hostel.. I learnt what actual freedom means. Till then, my life was a regimen. Study study and more study.Enforced with a cane, kind of routine. The kind of military regimen you encounter in a corporate college in Andhra Pradesh. Wake up a 5 AM, Brush teeth(if possible)-Wash face-Change clothes-And out by 5.15 to study the physics involved in kinematics, why water is called as H2O and more importantly secure a good rank in IIT-JEE, AIEEE, EAMCET, BITSAT,etc.. (the list goes on )

I had completely failed in all the examinations other than this exam called  JET which 95% of Andhra Pradesh students haven't heard of. Thanks to the nativity of my father i landed up in this place called Pondicherry. And finally there i was at the gateway of freedom.. an exhilaration when i entered the portals of PEC. I felt so grown up. So big. So matured. (Till i encountered my seniors during the ragging sessions :P)

No more study hours. No more wardens and P.D.'s to tell you to "Study.. Study.." At that time i understood why everyone from Jhansi Rani Lakshmi Bhai to Mahatma Gandhi fought for it. Yup freedom!! Realised y people waged wars for it. I went headlong into it on August 9 ,2006. The first few days of my new freedom was taken away by seniors. Not that i was ragged lyk the way they show it in 3 idiots. But still No buses No walkin into mess with boxers on and some small things.. But still those days are very memorable.. As there was no responsibility on me. And those were the last days of me being a regular student goin to class by 9 in the morning and gettin 5 marks in the attendance and all..

And once i entered 2nd year things started changin... Irregularity increased.  This was the tym when i first tasted sin.. My first **, My first ****.. and so on... a  lot of firsts..  It was where I learnt to beg. For attendance. For marks. For value. For different things.. The professors were of the opinion that I would make a great marketer. One who could sell anything. This was the place where i learnt to lie.( The basic requirement for a man to succeed in todays lyf)

Those are the days when atleast 5 of my friends used to knock my door atleast 3 times a day starting from 7:30 to 9:15 in the morning. And finally when i get up at 9:30 in the morning the first thing i do is switch on my computer and check if the yesterdays download has been completed.. Then Reluctantly i go to the bathroom for brushing my teeth hopin that some of the breakfast is still left out for me... And while eatin the white stones(idly) or the oily brown paper(puri nd dosa) i decide whether i am in a mood to go for the colz.. If i decided that that the class s a requirement( for attendance) which i generally dont, i go to the class hopin that the prof allows me without askin stupid qs...

Those are the days i used to watch movies lyk hell.. All types of films :P. I stayed back durin my 5th semester hols oly for watching  movies ( not those oly but all)... Probably i ll never watch those many in my lyf again..

Those are the days i used to visit a lot of restaurants in pondicherry decidin which is better so that it could be made as our regular spot. Be it 50 or 500 we always found ways to fill our stomach..

Those are the days i used to go alone to the beach sit in the beach for an hour or so feeling the pleasent breeze of pondicherry air.

Those are the days i used to sit late  upto 3 or 4 in the night( i guess u call it as morning) and watch things i shouldnt and doing things i shouldnt.. :)

Those are the days  i used to start my prepartaion for the semester exam oly on the day before the exam at probably 10 in the morning. My record being 10 in the night for my last exam which i maanged to scrap a D.

Oh God.. I miss those days..
